Mason Law enjoyed his trip to Knockhill in Scotland at the weekend, where the British Superbike rookie again scored championship points in both races aboard the GR Motosport prepared Team WD-40 Kawasaki. Having made it through to the second qualifying cut [Q2] on Saturday, he put it to good use with 15thand 14thplaced finishing on Sunday in the Scottish sunshine, in front of a packed and appreciative audience.

Speaking of his weekend, the Benfleet lad said: “It was another good weekend on my WD-40 Superbike at Knockhill. We once again made it through to Q2 and gained two points’ scoring finishes.”

Discussing the team and personal development he has made on the ZX-10RR Kawasaki throughout the opening five rounds of the 2018 series, he added: “Every time I throw my leg over the bike I’m learning something new, whether that’s about myself, or about the bike and set-up.

“I’m happy with the foundations we have built now, and I know it won’t be long until we can gain the fruits of all the hard work that’s being bundled in to this project.”

Praising the GR Motosport squad, he was keen to say: “Thanks again to my team, and my crew who were faultless all weekend. A big mention to my personal partners and of course all of the great motorcycling fans that flocked to the circuit to support us all. I’m extremely grateful.”

Looking ahead to the next round he concluded: “It’s Brands Hatch next, and the GP circuit too. That I’m really looking forward to.”
